Just 1 ½ miles up the road from Exit 21 in Low Moor VA, The Jackson River Technical Center helps students hone winning hands-on skills.

JRTC students have won state championships in welding and in cabinetmaking.

JRTC’s 2019 state welding champion went on to win GOLD in the SkillsUSA National Championship.

Programs at JRTC include:

Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Computer Systems Technology, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Electricity, Marketing, Nurse Aide/Health Assistant, and Welding
